Overview
The Trico 30103 #3 closed system oiler is a precision lubricant delivery component manufactured by Trico Corporation. The Closed System Opto-Matic Oiler is designed for all types of equipment where a constant level in an oil housing must be maintained. A 1/8″ NPT port is provided for a vent line back to the housing to allow pressure balancing between the oiler and the housing.

- One piece glass reservoir ensures proper constant level function, with no possibility of air leakage that would cause overfilling of the housing.
- The oiler uses a pressure-balancing line to exchange air within the lubricating sump, which closes the oiler from the surrounding environment protecting the oil against contamination.
- Control the oil level externally through the adjustable collar.
- The Red-Collar Oiler is designed without slots, but with seven independent holes, each identified by a letter designation A through G, which allows SOP writers to identify a specific lettered hole to adjust the oiler to, and provides a positive stop when putting the reservoir assembly back on after filling.

These oilers are defined by the color of the adjustable collar on the oiler. Connection ports support both side and bottom line routing for flexible installation.
