Overview
The Bently Nevada 31000 proximity probe housing (part 31000-00-00-15-285-03-02) is an industrial-grade enclosure assembly designed to house and protect proximity probes used in shaft vibration and axial displacement monitoring systems. The Bently Nevada 31000 Series is an industrial-grade shaft vibration and displacement monitoring system designed specifically for monitoring the health of rotating machinery, capable of simultaneously measuring shaft vibration and axial displacement with high-precision, high-reliability monitoring data. Proximity probes use changes in voltage to measure rotating or reciprocating shaft surfaces, and because they are non-contacting transducers, they mount on reasonably stationary mechanical structures, such as bearing housings.
