The Gates B74 Hi-Power II PowerBand is a banded V-belt engineered for industrial power transmission applications requiring reliable torque delivery and load stability. The PowerBand technology consists of several V-belts joined together by a permanent, high strength tie band, providing more powerful, tougher performance than the sum of the belts measured separately. This construction eliminates vibration, turning over, and belt slippage issues common in single-belt drives. Available in multiple strand configurations (2, 3, 4, and 16-strand units), the B74 suits demanding industrial, agricultural, and equipment-drive applications.
