The Gates 5VX1000 is a narrow-section Super HC molded notch V-belt designed for heavy-duty industrial power transmission applications requiring compact, high-horsepower drive solutions. When power transmission applications need a high horsepower solution but are constrained by drive weight or physical space, Super HC molded notch belts provide a solution through proprietary ethylene construction that delivers superior flex and load-carrying capacity, transmitting up to three times the horsepower versus comparably sized belts. This bandless design is recommended for industrial machinery, compressors, pumps, fans, and drive systems where reliability and efficiency are critical.
