Overview
The Strataflo 385 check valve is a precision-engineered check valve designed for critical one-way flow control in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power applications. The No. 385 check valve is made of a one-piece cast brass body, rated for 200lb working pressure with 3″ NPT threaded connections on both ends. This all-position check valve prevents backflow and maintains system integrity across industrial, agricultural, and mobile equipment installations.
Key Features
- Designed to operate in any position, a sensitive spring has been added to close the poppet automatically
- The rubber poppet is fully-formed around a solid steel insert to provide greater strength in commercial applications
- Each valve is tested twice for casting integrity and backflow prevention
- All valves are 100% American-Made and built to last
- NPT threaded connections for standard pipe integration
Technical Specifications
New valve: Standard female threads on both ends, Cv factor of 185. Original valve: 2-1/2″ valve body with 3″ male thread on both ends, Cv factor of 69. Cv is flow (GPM) with a 1 psi differential pressure.
Typical Applications
The Strataflo 385 is suitable for:
- Hydraulic pump discharge protection
- Hydraulic accumulator isolation
- Counterbalance valve pilot lines
- System priming and air removal
- Mobile equipment and industrial hydraulic systems
- Aerospace and heavy equipment hydraulic circuits
Compatibility & Replacements
Compatible With
- Hydraulic systems operating at 200 psi or less
