Overview
The Minarik RG500UA is a full-wave, four-quadrant regenerative SCR drive engineered for precise DC motor speed control in industrial automation, material handling, and motion control applications. Unlike standard PWM drives, regenerative SCR technology allows overhauling loads to return energy to the AC line, extending battery life in mobile and portable equipment. With dual-voltage input switching and smooth variable-speed operation, the RG500UA handles single or bi-directional control of brush-type DC motors from 1/8 to 2 HP.
