Overview
The SMC D-Y7PW/DC24V is a solid state auto-switch widely used for pneumatic automation applications. This Hall-effect proximity sensor replaces mechanical reed switches in cylinder position-detection circuits. A Hall-effect (Solid-State) switch is electronic, with no moving parts to wear out, making it ideal for high-cycle industrial environments. The unit features a 10-foot (3-meter) pre-attached cable with three conductors (brown, black, blue).
