Overview
The Opto 22 IDC5B is a fast-switching DC digital input module designed for industrial automation applications. This G1 Series module provides high-speed signal conditioning with galvanic isolation between field inputs and control logic. The IDC5B accepts DC signals from 4–16 VDC and outputs 5 VDC logic levels, making it compatible with standard PLC and industrial controller inputs. With 4000V (transient) of optical isolation, the module protects downstream control circuits from voltage spikes and field noise.
