Overview

The Fuji Electric ZDL04001 NO2/NO converter is a specialized catalytic converter designed to convert nitrogen dioxide (NO2) into nitrogen monoxide (NO) for accurate NOx (nitrogen oxides) measurements. NO2 to NO converter for NOx measurements. NOx Converters are utilized in combustion plants, incineration, steel plants, furnace control, CEMS, research labs, and more. This precision instrument enables gas analyzers that measure only NO to determine total nitrogen oxide concentration, essential for emissions compliance and process control.

Key Features

  • Set temperature is 220±10°C for optimal catalyst activation and NO2 conversion
  • The system operates at a flow rate of 0.5 l/min, guaranteeing optimal dust- and condensate-free sampling conditions at temperatures below 150°C
  • The converter is equipped with a PXE4 temperature controller offering precise adjustment to 220°C, monitored by a K-type thermocouple. This function ensures optimum temperature for the conversion process.
  • Materials in contact with gases, such as ceramic, Viton, glass wool and SS316 stainless steel, guarantee exceptional resistance and durability, in compliance with ENI 5267
  • Available in 2, 4 and 6 cm3 versions, the catalytic converter offers flexibility adapted to the specific needs of different environments and applications
  • The catalyst should be replaced every eight months when the NO2 concentration is 10 ppm or lower

Technical Specifications

  • Converter Type: NO2 to NO catalytic converter
  • Power Supply: 100 TO 240 Vac, 50/60 hz
  • Power Consumption: around 85 VA
  • Operating Temperature: 220±10°C
  • Gas Flow Rate: 0.5 l/min
  • Gas Inlet/Outlet: TEFLON, TUBE DIA 6 / 4 mm INTO VITON CONNECTION PORT
  • Measurement Range: Typical for NOx at 0–100 ppm or higher (application-dependent)
  • Catalyst Replacement Interval: around 12 months, based on standard conditions with an oxygen (O2) concentration of 5% and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) of 10 ppm

Typical Applications

  • Continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) in power plants
  • Combustion efficiency and furnace control
  • Steel mill and industrial furnace monitoring
  • Waste-to-energy and incineration facilities
  • Environmental compliance testing and research laboratories
  • Industrial exhaust and stack gas analysis

Compatibility & Replacements

Compatible With

  • Fuji Electric gas analyzer systems and NOx monitoring instruments
  • Third-party CEMS platforms compatible with standard gas inlet/outlet ports (6/4 mm Teflon tubing)
  • Environmental monitoring and emissions testing equipment
  • Temperature control systems with K-type thermocouple inputs

Replaces / Drop-In Replacement For

  • Verify compatibility with your system integrator before ordering. The ZDL04001 is the base model; ensure your application does not require variant (ZDL04002, ZDL04003) based on catalyst volume or specialized configurations.

Works With

  • Fuji Electric PXE4 temperature controller
  • K-type thermocouple sensor interfaces
  • Standard 100–240V AC single-phase power supplies
  • Gas analyzer platforms using NO detection with NOx correction
  • Teflon and Viton tubing connectors (6/4 mm)
