The Comitronic BTI 401-OPTOPUS is a miniature non-autonomous safety switch receiver engineered for position control on dangerous machinery access points. It operates at 24V with a primary current of 250 mA and uses patented solid-state process-coded construction with no moving parts, eliminating the wear and alignment issues inherent to mechanical or reed-switch interlocks. Manufactured in France by Comitronic-BTI, this unit is ideal for guarding doors, gates, and casings on hazardous equipment.
