Compatibility & Replacements
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP1 is a direct replacement for the original logic module in PanelView Plus 700–1500 terminals. This module is not compatible with PanelView Plus 6 or other PanelView product families. When replacing the logic module, ensure the display module (e.g., 2711P-RDT10C or 2711P-RDT7C) is properly disconnected and that the communication module is removed beforehand. The module requires a display module to function as a complete terminal; it is the logic core only and cannot operate independently. Rockwell Automation provides firmware and configuration support through Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
