Overview
The OMEGA XCIB-K-4-2-10 Type K thermocouple is a high-temperature sensor designed for demanding industrial applications. This thermocouple is double-protected with abrasion-resistant Inconel overbraid with high temperature ceramic fiber insulation, with a temperature rating of 980°C (1800°F) continuous service and 1090°C (2000°F) short-term service, making it ideal for furnaces, ovens, and other extreme-temperature environments. The model designation “4-2” indicates a grounded junction style, and “-10” denotes a 10-foot lead length.
