Overview
The Allen-Bradley 440S-SF8D is a GuardLink-enabled connection tap that integrates 8-pin M12 OSSD contacts for machine safety and guarding applications. GuardLink is a safety-based communications protocol that links safety to The Connected Enterprise, with Guardmaster smart safety devices delivering information, advanced functionality and flexibility while enhancing safety and increasing efficiency machine- and plant-wide. This smart tap bridges safety devices to the Guardmaster GuardLink system with output switching signal contacts suitable for Power to Release (PTR) guard locking systems.
