Overview
The Phoenix Contact QUINT-PS/1AC/24DC/20 is a compact, primary-switched QUINT POWER supply unit designed for DIN rail mounting in industrial automation systems. With output of 24 V DC / 20 A, adjustable from 18 V DC to 29.5 V DC, this unit delivers stable power across a wide input voltage range (100–240 V AC nominal). QUINT POWER circuit breakers magnetically and therefore quickly trip at six times the nominal current, for selective and therefore cost-effective system protection.
Key Features
- SFB Technology (Selective Fuse Breaking): With the SFB technology, six times the nominal current for 12 ms, even the standard power circuit-breakers can now also be triggered reliably and quickly. Faulty current paths are switched off selectively, the fault is located and important system parts continue to operate.
- Power Boost Reserve: Reliable starting of heavy loads takes place via the static power reserve POWER BOOST.
- Preventive Function Monitoring: The high level of system availability is additionally ensured, thanks to preventive function monitoring, as it reports critical operating states before errors occur.
- Adjustable Output Voltage: Thanks to the adjustable voltage, all ranges between 5 V DC … 56 V DC are covered.
- Harsh Environment Rating: All our QUINT power supplies are tested in accordance with the ISA G3 Harsh Group A standard and meet the requirements of the standard.
- Multi-Stage Converter: No, since the QUINT power supply is designed with a multi-stage converter concept, interference is not transmitted.
