Opto 22 Output Module OAG5Q

The Opto 22 OAC5Q is a Quad Pak 4-channel AC output module designed for controlling or switching AC loads ranging from 12 to 280 VAC. Utilizing 5 VDC logic, it seamlessly integrates with Opto 22’s Optomux, Pamux, and Mistic protocol brain boards and mounting racks, as well as with systems employing a direct cable connection to a computer. Additionally, the OAC5Q is compatible with Raspberry Pi setups when used in conjunction with the Digital I/O Carrier Board (part number OPTO-P1-40P) and the PB16HQ mounting rack.

Each Quad Pak module consolidates four single-channel I/O circuits into a single package, with the capability to divide into two pairs, each sharing a common connection. These modules are specifically designed to plug into Quad Pak I/O mounting racks and are not compatible with single-channel or SNAP racks.

The OAC5Q module provides up to 4,000 Vrms of optical isolation between field devices and control logic, ensuring robust protection and signal integrity. It features zero voltage turn-on and zero current turn-off, enhancing the longevity and reliability of connected devices.
