Overview
The Opto 22 IDC5 is a legacy G1 series digital input module built for reliable ON/OFF voltage sensing in industrial automation systems. The IDC5 can act as either a DC or AC input, accepting 10-32 VDC or 12-32 VAC. Each module provides up to 4000 volts (transient) of optical isolation between the field inputs and the output side of the circuit. This module is widely used in legacy control systems, retrofit installations, and field-mounted remote I/O racks.
