Overview
The Notifier NBG-12 fire alarm pull station is a cost-effective manual device engineered for conventional fire alarm control panels and monitor modules. The NBG-12 series features a dual-action design that requires two motions to activate the station, providing a balance between ease of operation and protection against accidental activation. The NBG-12 Series provides an alarm-initiating input signal to conventional Fire Alarm Control Panels and Monitor Modules, making it ideal for industrial facilities, commercial spaces, and institutional buildings.
Key Features
- Dual-action design — requiring the user to lift the front cover and then pull the handle — provides protection against accidental activation in busy corridors, lobbies, and public spaces
- Built-in bicolor LED, which is visible through the handle of the station, flashes in normal operation and latches steady red when in alarm
- Handle latches in down position and the word “ACTIVATED” appears to clearly indicate the station has been operated
- Meets ADAAG controls and operating mechanisms guidelines (Section 4.1.3[13]); meets ADA requirement for 5 lb. maximum activation force
- Captive screw terminals wire-ready for easy connection to SLC loop (accepts up to 12 AWG/3.25 mm² wire)
