Overview
The Lincoln Electric ED023323 Wearshield ME stick electrode is a high-alloy hardfacing consumable designed for heavy-duty abrasion protection. Wearshield ME produces a tough, wear-resistant deposit with a eutectic mix of chromium carbides and austenite, offering superior abrasion resistance compared to standard hardfacing options. The 1/8″ diameter, 14″ length configuration delivers reliable performance in flat and horizontal welding positions.
Key Features
- Ideal for abrasion hardfacing applications needing chrome carbides and austenite
- Low dilution weld metal provides eutectic mix of chromium carbides and austenite with limited primary carbides
- Provides greater abrasion resistance than Wearshield ABR or Wearshield 44
- Works best in metal-to-metal sliding applications
- Welded in flat and horizontal position only
- Deposit is limited to four layers
