Overview
The Dwyer 3010 Photohelic Pressure Switch is a dual-function instrument combining a highly accurate pressure gauge with a reliable switching control system. Using solid state technology, the Series 3000 Photohelic switch/gauge combines the functions of a precise, highly repeatable differential pressure switch with a large easy-to-read analog pressure gauge employing the durable, time-proven Magnehelic gauge design. This model covers the 0–10″ w.c. range and is ideal for HVAC systems, clean rooms, and industrial process monitoring.
Key Features
- Solid state design with large external knobs for easy switch setting adjustment on the gauge face
- Gauge reading is unaffected by switch operation and will indicate accurately even if power is interrupted
- Each setpoint has 2 Form C relays (DPDT) for low/high limit control
- When pressure changes reaching either set point, the infrared light to the limiting phototransistor is cut off by the helix-driven light shutter, electronically amplified to actuate its DPDT slave relay
- Dead band between make and break is 1% of full scale or less—just enough to assure positive, chatter-free operation
- Units can be flush mounted in 4-13/16″ (122 mm) hole or surface mounted with hardware supplied
Technical Specifications
Accuracy: ±2% of full scale at 70°F (21.1°C), with repeatability of ±1% of full scale. Each setpoint has 2 Form C relays (DPDT) with electrical rating of 10 A @ 28 VDC, 10 A @ 120, 240 VAC. Power requirements are 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz; 240 VAC & 24 VAC power optional. Temperature limits are 20 to 120°F with low temperature option available. Process connections are 1/8″ female NPT with weight of 4 lb (1.81 kg).
