Overview
The Cooper Bussmann 216-R is a Class R rejection fuse reducer designed for industrial electrical systems. It allows smaller capacity fuses—35 to 60A at 250V or 1 to 30A at 600V—to fit into 100A fuse blocks while maintaining mechanical and electrical contact integrity. This adapter is essential for retrofitting and protecting circuits where oversized fuse blocks are installed.
Key Features
- Class R rejection design prevents interchangeability errors
- Supports dual voltage ratings: 250V and 600V
- Compatible with FRN-R, LPN-RK, FRS-R, LPS-RK, KTN-R, and KTS-R series ferrule and blade-end fuses
- Fits standard industrial panels and Dead-front type switches
- Strong mechanical and electrical contact design
- 1 pair of reducers per package
- Short-circuit current rating (SCCR) up to fuse interrupting rating
