Overview
The Campbell Scientific SC32A is an optically isolated RS-232 interface module designed to bridge Campbell Scientific dataloggers with RS-232 serial ports on computers and peripherals. This interface converts the CMOS logic levels of a datalogger’s serial I/O port to the RS-232 levels of a computer. It supports RS-232 cable lengths of up to 50 feet. The optical isolation architecture protects connected equipment against ground loops, static discharge, and noise interference.
