Overview
The Bussmann RES-100 100A is a renewable Class H cartridge fuse designed for general-purpose electrical protection in systems with available fault current below 10,000 amps. This time-delay (slow-blow) fuse allows temporary inrush currents while protecting against sustained overloads, making it suitable for motor circuits and other inductive loads in industrial and commercial settings.
Key Features
- Non-current-limiting renewable design — lower cost per operation compared to single-use fuses
- Class H time-delay characteristics — permits safe startup inrush without nuisance trips
- 600VAC rated for use in standard industrial power distribution panels
- 10kA interrupting rating — suitable for systems with moderate fault capacity
- Blade terminal construction for quick installation in standard fuseholders
