Overview
The Bussmann No. 616 Class H fuse reducer is a non-indicating adapter designed to accommodate smaller Class H and K fuses in equipment rated for 100A operation at 600V. This pair of reducers installs on fuse ferrules or blades to permit the application of smaller fuse sizes (35–60A) than those for which the fuse blocks or holders are originally designed. Commonly used in electrical panels, disconnect switches, and motor control centers, the No. 616 maintains both mechanical and electrical contact integrity while reducing the arc rating in the circuit.
Key Features
- Compatible with Class H and Class K fuses (NOS/RES fuse types)
- Rated for 35–60A fuses in 100A fuse blocks
- Non-rejecting design fits most panel and switch configurations, including dead-front types
- Strong mechanical and electrical contact for reliable performance
- Sold as a pair (quantity: 2)
