Overview
The Allied Telesis AT-210TS CentreCOM twisted pair transceiver is an IEEE 802.3–compliant Media Attachment Unit (MAU) designed for 10Base-T Ethernet networks. This compact transceiver connects directly to workstations and brings thin Ethernet or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wiring directly to the workstation. Ideal for legacy industrial automation systems, PLC networking, and distributed I/O over Ethernet.

- Compact size allows direct connection to workstations with thin Ethernet or UTP wiring
- Supports distances up to 100 meters using UTP, and up to 185 meters using coax
- Signal Quality Error (SQE)/Heartbeat test easily enabled or disabled via externally accessible switch
- Integral jabber lock-up prevention circuitry and loopback function
- Loopback feature allows Local Area Network (LAN) controllers to determine if a Media Attachment Unit (MAU) is connected and operational
