Overview
The ATC UPA-130-GOV is a wired voltage detector assembly designed to pre-verify electrical isolation and detect live voltage in control panels before service work begins. This hardwired unit reduces the risk of arc flash incidents by providing visual LED indication of dangerous AC or DC potentials, enabling electricians to safely verify de-energized conditions. The detector monitors four input lines (L1, L2, L3, and ground) and uses redundant circuitry for reliable performance in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Key Features
- Redundant Circuitry: Engineered with redundant detection for consistent, reliable voltage sensing
- Visual LED Indication: Eight detector channels with dual LEDs per phase line for AC and DC detection
- Self-Powered Design: Operates from the monitored voltage itself; no battery required
- Wide Voltage Range: Detects 40–750 VAC and 30–1000 VDC
- NEMA 4X Enclosure: Totally encapsulated housing for durability in industrial environments
- 30 mm Panel Knockout: Drop-in installation through standard electrical panel cutout
- Standards Compliance: UL and cUL Listed; meets NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety requirements
