Overview
The Allen-Bradley 20-750-ENETR is a PowerFlex 750 series EtherNet/IP option module providing dual-port network communications for PowerFlex 753 and PowerFlex 755 AC drives. Designed for drive control pod mounting, this adapter bridges DPI (Drive Protocol Interface) to EtherNet/IP connectivity, enabling engineers to integrate variable frequency drives into modern industrial networks. Used units are ideal for replacement, retrofit, and testing applications.
Key Features
- Dual Ethernet Ports: Two independent 10/100 Mbps full/half-duplex ports for redundant network paths and DLR (Device Level Ring) topology support
- Dual-Mode Operation: Configurable tap or adapter mode to match network architecture and integration requirements
- Extended Connectivity: 30 TCP connections with 16 simultaneous MSG instruction connections for multi-device communication
- Direct Drive Integration: Pod-mount design connects directly to PowerFlex 750-series drive control interface
- Integrated EDS: Auto-loading EDS files simplify EtherNet/IP network commissioning and discovery
- Industrial Certifications: UL, cUL, CE, and C-Tick agency approvals for global deployment

Compatibility & Replacements
The 20-750-ENETR is specifically designed for PowerFlex 750 series drives, including PowerFlex 753 (up to 400 Hp/270 kW) and PowerFlex 755 (up to 2000 Hp/1500 kW) variable frequency drives. It replaces earlier DPI-only interface modules and upgrades drives from isolated serial control to networked EtherNet/IP operation. When purchasing used modules, verify Series (A, B, C) compatibility with your drive firmware revision. This adapter module is not interchangeable with 20-750 models lacking the ENETR suffix or with other drive families (PowerFlex 4M, 523, 525, etc.). Consult Rockwell Automation documentation or contact a system integrator for retrofit compatibility confirmation on legacy installations.
