Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4I is a compact analog output module designed for the SLC 500 control platform. This four-channel analog output module uses a 16-bit 2’s complementary binary format and has 4 current outputs that provide an output range of 0 to +20 mA with full-scale current output of 21 mA. This module is used with SLC 500 fixed or modular style hardware. The unit features an embedded selector switch to allow selection of power supply source—internal power supply utilizes the supply from the backplane while external source refers to an external power supply with specification of 24 ±10% at 195 mA max.
Key Features
- Four analog outputs (0…20mA)
- 14-bit resolution via the R-2R Ladder conversion method with load range of 0 to 500 ohms and maximum load reactance of 100 µH
- Input step response of 2.5 milliseconds at 95%
- Uses shielded communication cable with removable terminal for simplified wiring and ease when replacing the module
- Flexible power sourcing with SW1 power selector switch
- LED status indicator present on module, compatible with 1746 chassis only
