Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1794-TBN FLEX I/O terminal base is a signal and power termination unit that houses removable I/O modules on DIN rail or panel-mounted applications. The 1794-TBN Terminal Base Unit provides 16 I/O terminal base points with 250V AC/DC electrical rating and maximum current capacity of 10A. It contains 16 I/O terminal points and can host different Flex I/O 1794 series output modules on a panel or DIN rail.
Key Features
- NEMA-style screw clamp for larger gauge wire with a cover for 10 I/O wirings
- 250V AC/DC electrical rating with maximum current capacity of 10A
- 2 common terminals, 2 +voltage terminals
- Operates at -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, storage/transport rated -40 to 85 degrees Celsius
- Open-style enclosure
- Compatible with Flex I/O 1794 series output modules
Technical Specifications
The 1794-TBN utilizes NEMA screw clamp design for reliable field terminations. It has 5V DC and 640mA FLEXBUS rating with V/COM terminal voltage of 250V DC/AC at 50-60 Hz and 10A current. Terminal screw torque is 1.4 Nm (12 lb-in). Base circuitry utilizes copper wire with 0.34 x 3.3 mm² (22-12 AWG) solid or stranded wire size with 1.2 mm (3/64 inch) thick insulation.
