Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1783-MX08F is a fiber-optic expansion module designed for Stratix 8000 and 8300 managed Ethernet switches. This module adds eight 100 Mbps fiber ports equipped with LC connectors, enabling long-distance industrial network extensions with superior EMI immunity and isolation. It functions as a drop-in expansion card that attaches to compatible base switch units, supporting graded index multimode fiber runs up to 2000 meters.
