Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1734D-IB8XOW8 is a sealed POINTBlock combination module designed for distributed I/O and remote control architectures. This combination input and output module features eight (8) DC inputs and eight (8) relay outputs. The module has an integrated DeviceNet communication port that supports 125Kbps, 250 Kbps, and 500 Kbps communication rate. Built-in power supply converts the incoming 24V DC power to a 5V DC backplane power.

Key Features

  • Eight 24VDC input channels for interfacing signaling devices such as switches, sensors, pushbutton devices, and auxiliary contacts; eight relay output channels in Form A contacts (Single Pole Single Throw switch).
  • Relay output channels are compatible for use with AC and DC voltages and inductive loads or electrical loads that require high current to energize.
  • Supports installation of up to twelve (12) expansion I/O with POINTBus maximum output current of 1A.
  • DeviceNet interface is compliant to Open Devicenet Vendors Association (ODVA) standard.
  • Wiring block uses cage clamp connections for reliable terminal connections.

Technical Specifications

  • Input channels: 8 × 24VDC DC sink
