Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1794-OA16 is a discrete AC digital output module in the FLEX I/O family, manufactured by Rockwell Automation. This 16-point 120VAC output module provides reliable control of AC-powered field devices in distributed I/O systems. The module features non-isolated output channels with a 4.0-ampere rating and operates across a 74–132 VAC range, making it suitable for relay coils, solenoid actuators, contactors, pilot lamps, and industrial signaling devices.
Key Features
- 16 non-isolated AC output channels rated at 4.0 amperes per module
- Output voltage range: 74–132 VAC, 47–63 Hz (nominal 120VAC)
- On-state voltage drop: 1.5V maximum at 0.5A
- Built-in 2.5A internal fuse for overall module protection
- Maximum output signal delay: ½ cycle (OFF-to-ON and ON-to-OFF transitions)
- Compatible with all 1794 FLEX I/O terminal bases and communication adapters
- DIN-rail mountable with modular terminal base architecture
