Overview
The AEMC 6503 is a portable, hand-crank megohmmeter designed for insulation resistance testing in plant and field service applications. Unlike battery-powered testers, the AEMC 6503 megohmmeter operates independently, making it ideal for remote sites where power and batteries are unavailable. The easy hand-cranked operation provides a steady, DC voltage output across the entire range for consistently reliable readings.

Technical Specifications
Insulation test ranges for 250V: 0.5 to 5.5MΩ and 5.5 to 200MΩ; for 500V: 1 to 11MΩ and 11 to 500MΩ; for 1000V: 10 to 110MΩ and 110 to 5000MΩ. Short circuit current: 5mA (max); voltage measurement/safety check: 0 to 600Vac. Accuracy: 2.5% of full scale length.
