Overview
The Square D 9070TF150D1 is an industrial-grade control transformer from the Class 9070 Type TF series. This industrial control transformer has a power rating of 150VA and is 1 phase (UL), with a primary voltage of 240 x 480V and a secondary voltage of 120V. Designed with low impedance windings for excellent voltage regulation and capable of accommodating the high inrush current associated with contactors, starters, solenoids, and relays.
Key Features
- Type TF units feature factory installed primary and secondary fusing, eliminating the need for separate fuse blocks
- Compact dimensions of 4.5 in (H) × 3.75 in (W) × 3.59 in (D) with copper windings
- Complies with UL, CSA, and CE standards
- Suitable for panel mounting in industrial automation and motor control applications
- Operates at 50/60 Hz with high-quality insulation for long service life
Technical Specifications
The fuse type is CC with a fuse size of 0.41 x 1.50 in mounted on the top of the unit. The temperature rise is rated at 55 °C. Fuse blocks are rated for 30 Amp and accept 11/2 x 13/32 fuses.
Typical Applications
This unit functions as a step-down control transformer for automation panels and motor starters. It is widely used in industrial control panels to reduce high-voltage primary supplies to standard 120V control circuit voltage, powering contactors, pilot lights, auxiliary relays, and other control devices in manufacturing and facility automation systems.
Compatibility & Replacements
Compatible With
- Single-phase 240V or 480V power supplies
- Industrial automation control panels
