Overview

The Martin 1610 1-1/4 taper bushing is a non-flanged split taper bushing designed for flush mounting on drive shafts. Tapered non-flanged split bushings utilize screws to tighten on the shaft, providing excellent clamping force. This Martin 1610 taper bushing is used for mounting a taper bushed pulley, sheave, or sprocket on a drive shaft.

Key Features

  • 1-1/4″ bore diameter with finished keyway for direct shaft mounting
  • 8 degree taper with 4300 in-lb torque capacity
  • Flush mounted for reduced mounting width and has a split taper for a tight clamp to shafts
  • Used on sprockets, sheaves and pulleys to increase clamping force over standard bored-to-size product
  • Steel construction for durability and wear resistance
  • Two bolt holes with 3/8-16 setscrew for secure installation
