Overview
The Martin SF-2-15/16 QD Quick Disconnect Bushing is a split-taper quick disconnect bushing engineered for power transmission applications. This SF bushing features a 2.9375 in bore, 4.625 in flange OD, and 2.0625 length through bore, constructed of ductile iron. It is used for mounting a quick disconnect pulley, sheave, or sprocket on a drive shaft, with a split design through the flange and taper to provide strong clamping on the shaft.
Key Features
- Completely split design allows for quick and easy installation and removal
- Ductile iron construction provides greater strength than gray cast iron and resistance to wear, galling, and corrosion
- Keyed to the shaft with a set screw over the keyway to help keep the key in place on vertical shafts and with vibrating loads
- Finished bore with 3/4 x 1/32″ keyway
- Split tapered cone design generates secure press fit and cone grip
- Three bolt holes for mounting to sheaves, sprockets, and other components
Technical Specifications
The Martin SF-2-15/16 features robust construction suited for continuous-duty power transmission:
