Overview
The Spectrum Controls 1756SC-IF8U is a universal analog input module engineered for ControlLogix automation systems. The module provides current, voltage, thermocouple, or RTD capability in a single module. It maximizes rack space without compromising performance by replacing dedicated analog input, thermocouple, and RTD modules with one universal module. Spectrum Controls is an Allen-Bradley Encompass partner manufacturer, ensuring compatibility and support.

Eight (8) analog input channels configurable for Thermocouple (J, K, T, B, E, R, S, N, C), Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) (PT385/3916, Ni618/672, NiFe518, Cu426), Resistance (0-150, 0-1000, 0-3000 ohms), Current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA), and Voltage (±50 mV, ±100 mV, 0-5 V, 1-5 V, 0-10 V, ±10 V) input channels.
Resolution & Accuracy: 16–20 bit resolution with comparable accuracy to dedicated analog modules.
Input Modes:
The module provides eight voltage, current, and thermocouple inputs, or four channels RTD/resistance inputs. Use any combination of input types at one time.
Installation:
The module mounts to an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756 Controller chassis and uses a Removable Terminal Block (RTB) to connect all field-side wiring.
