Overview
The SMC D-Y7P magnetic switch is a solid-state auto switch designed for detecting piston position in pneumatic actuators. Unlike traditional reed switches, the D-Y7P uses Hall-effect technology with no mechanical moving parts, making it ideal for high-cycle, repetitive-duty applications. This 3-wire PNP configuration ensures compatibility with standard industrial PLCs and control systems, while the included indicator LED provides visual feedback of switch state.
