Overview

The Bussmann LP-CC-25 is a Class CC Low-Peak time-delay current-limiting fuse designed for branch circuit and control applications. This Bussmann series Ultimate protection Low-Peak Class CC current-limiting, time-delay fuse provides time delay and Class CC current limiting response to provide precise protection for small motors and relay circuits, while maximizing the short-circuit current rating protection of the components. The rejection-type design prevents insertion of lower-rated fuses into compatible holders.

Key Features

  • Time-delay – 12 seconds (minimum) at 200% of rated current prevents nuisance trips from motor inrush
  • Time delay coupled with Class CC current-limiting response provides close sizing on small motor and relay circuits, and maximum component short-circuit current rating protection
  • 200kA interrupting rating provides high ratings for control circuit locations
  • Class CC rejection feature, with appropriate fuse block, prevents inserting lesser-rated supplementary fuses
  • Selective coordination ratio of 2:1 (within Low-Peak fuse family) prevents electrical shutdowns from extending beyond the failed circuit
  • Compact cylindrical design (13/32″ Dia × 1-1/2″ L) fits standard Class CC fuse holders
