Overview
Hoffman A-EK115NDH electrical interlock is designed to provide a positive internal safety on electrical enclosures. The interlocks prevent the door handle from being turned to open the door when energized. The NDH series is specifically designed for enclosures with exterior latching only and will not function as a replacement for standard door latches.

Typical Applications
This electrical interlock is designed for two-door type-12 enclosures for flange-mounted disconnects, heavy duty free-standing type-12 enclosures for flange-mounted disconnects, modular type-12 enclosures for flange-mounted disconnects and multi-door type-12 enclosures. It fits on the door or cover of Type 4, 4X enclosures, one-door Type 12 enclosures, and larger sizes of Hinge-Cover junction boxes while maintaining UL ratings when properly installed.

Replaces / Drop-In Replacement For
Catalog numbers AEK115NDH, AEK230NDH and AEK460NDH are designed to be used on some HOFFMAN enclosures and boxes which have exterior latching only. The A-EK115NDH is the 115VAC variant; verify your specific enclosure model and mounting configuration before ordering. Do not use in place of standard door or cover latches.
