Overview
The FPE 2050-105 thermostatic control valve is a compact, self-contained temperature control device engineered for heating and cooling systems that require reliable, automatic flow diversion or mixing without field adjustment. Fluid Power Energy (FPE) thermostatic valves use the principle of expanding wax, which in the semi-liquid state undergoes large expansion rates within a relatively narrow temperature range. The self-contained element activates a stainless steel sleeve, which directs flow.
Key Features
- Factory set at predetermined temperatures with no further adjustments necessary
- Can be used for diverting or mixing applications without modification of the valve assembly
- Available in aluminum and grey iron castings; ductile iron, bronze, steel and stainless steel housings also available
- Self-contained, tamper-proof design operates in any orientation
- Heavy-duty construction for rugged industrial environments
