Overview
The Fireye 85UVF1-1QD is a microprocessor-based ultraviolet flame scanner engineered for precise flame detection in industrial burners, boilers, furnaces, and high-temperature combustion processes. This Phoenix Series II integrated scanner features a solid-state UV detection sensor and an internal flame relay with automatically configured ON/OFF thresholds, eliminating the need for a separate flame amplifier or dedicated flame switch. The quick disconnect cable connector simplifies field installation, maintenance, and sensor replacement while maintaining electrical safety.
Key Features
- UV Detection (295–340 nm): Senses ultraviolet emissions from flames; immune to false signals from hot refractory, incandescent lamps, or ambient light.
- Selectable FFRT: Configurable Flame Failure Response Time allows tuning to burner characteristics and safety requirements.
- Integral Relay: Built-in flame relay with pre-set thresholds delivers dry-contact SPST/SPDT output; no external amplifier needed.
- Quick Disconnect (QD): Phoenix connector design enables rapid plug-pull cable connections for simplified commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Self-Diagnostics: Full on-board diagnostics and electronic self-checking provide continuous system health monitoring.
- Industrial Certifications: FM, UL/cUL, and CE approved for global compliance in burner management systems.
