The Falk 1070T grid coupling hub is a Steelflex series component from Rexnord engineered for industrial shaft coupling applications. This hub features a 2.4375-inch finished bore and integrates with the 1070T coupling size to deliver high torque transmission with built-in torsional elasticity. The hub design combines the economy and torque capacity of gear couplings with the flexibility benefits of elastomeric couplings—eliminating the need for complex alignment while protecting downstream equipment from shock loads and vibration.

Steelflex couplings are backed by a 5–year lubrication warranty and require no periodic maintenance when lubricated with Falk LTG (Long Term Grease) at installation. Featuring 25 sizes, they can accommodate torque loads up to 7,500,000 lb-in and shaft diameters up to 20 inches.
- Finished Bore: 2.4375-inch finished bore accommodates mid-range motor and gearbox shafts without additional machining.
- Low-Maintenance Operation: Grid element does not require periodic lubrication changes when lubricated with Falk LTG at installation.
- Peak Torque Capacity: Peak torque capacity is two times the published rating.
