Overview
The Bussmann FRS-R-2/10 Class RK5 fuse is a dual-element, time-delay Fusetron cartridge fuse engineered for reliable protection in industrial motor circuits and branch circuit applications. This 2/10A, 600V fuse combines a separate overload element with a short-circuit element to deliver coordinated protection with minimal nuisance trips.
Key Features
- Dual-element time-delay design allows selective coordination within the RK5 fuse family
- Rated 2/10A (0.2A) at 600Vac/300Vdc for versatile industrial use
- 200 kA interrupting rating at 600Vac; 20 kA at 300Vdc for short-circuit containment
- 8-second minimum time-delay at 500% of rated current—ideal for motor starting
- Separate overload and short-circuit elements enable tight motor FLA sizing (125% minimum)
- UL Class R recognized and CSA certified for North American compliance
