Overview
The Cooper OS310U is a wall-mounted occupancy sensor switch designed for automatic control of lighting in commercial and residential applications. Occupancy/Vacancy Sensor Switches use advanced Passive Infrared (PIR) technology to sense the movement of heat-emitting bodies. Occupancy Sensors provide Auto-on/Auto-off or Manual-on/Auto-off operation, making the OS310U ideal for spaces where automatic energy savings are a priority.
Key Features
- Auto-on/Auto-off Operation: The sensors automatically turn lights off after a space becomes vacant and a preset time delay elapses.
- Single-Pole and 3-Way Wiring: Both versions provide single-pole (single-location) and 3-way (multi-location) wiring and work with all lighting load types (INC, MLV, ELV, FLR, CFL, LED).
- LED Nightlight: A selectable and dimmable LED nightlight is provided.
- Ambient Light Override: Selectable ambient light override when there is acceptable natural light.
- Selectable Time Delays: The selectable time delays are 5 seconds (Test Mode), 5 minutes (factory default), 15 minutes and 30 minutes.
