Overview
The Banner S18UUAQ is a compact ultrasonic sensor in the U-Gage S18U series, engineered for precise distance measurement and object detection in close-range industrial applications. It reliably detects opaque or translucent objects from 30 mm to 300 mm, making it ideal for presence sensing, level detection, and position monitoring. The S18U series ultrasonic sensors are temperature compensated, which reduces the error due to temperature by about 90%, and will maintain window limits to within 1.8% over the -20° to +60° C range.
