Typical Applications
Basic control logics such as implementation of Start/Stop, Jog, Forward/Reverse motor controls, Opening and Closing of electrical devices such as valves, lamps and other electrical equipment may be implemented. The bulletin 1760 controller has acceptable functions for relays and time switching for most general applications; it can be applied to fans, lighting, window and door controllers, conveyors, and pumps.
Compatibility & Replacements
Compared to the 1760-L12AWA, this Pico controller has the same amount of embedded I/O however does not include high-speed inputs, meaning the 1760-L12DWD is capable of being used with high-speed inputs such as counters, totalizers and other applications. To download program to the Pico controller it is necessary to use the Allen-Bradley manufacture 1760-CBL-PM02 programming cables, with the programming PC connecting via the COM port while the Pico controller connects through the Pico interface. Verify compatibility with your existing 1760 series modules before installation. This Series B Revision D unit offers industry-standard reliability for OEM replacement and retrofit applications.
