Compatibility & Replacements
The 1756-OF8I is the isolated-channel variant of the standard 1756-OF8 module. It mounts directly into CompactLogix and ControlLogix I/O chassis. Firmware updates are available from Rockwell Automation (current version: v4.012). The module is compatible with Logix Designer and Studio 5000 programming environments. For non-isolated analog outputs, the 1756-OF8 is a suitable alternative. Removable terminal blocks (RTBs) models 1756-TBNH and 1756-TBSH are recommended for simplified wiring and maintenance.
