The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16I is a 16-point discrete output module designed for the ControlLogix family of programmable logic controllers. Each output point is individually isolated, allowing independent 12/24 VDC voltage sources to be wired to each channel. The module is compatible with Studio 5000 Logix Designer and all ControlLogix programming software. For applications requiring 32 output points without individual isolation, the 1756-OB32 offers an alternative; however, the 1756-OB16I’s isolation advantages make it the standard choice for multi-voltage or high-noise environments. Terminal block replacements (1756-TBCH, 1756-TBS6H) are field-serviceable.
