Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1791ES-IB16 is a CompactBlock Guard I/O safety-rated input module designed for distributed safety applications over EtherNet/IP networks. This module implements CIP Safety protocol to monitor and control critical safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, safety curtains, and gate switches. It provides 16 isolated safety inputs with 16 current-sourcing pulse test outputs and is mounted in an IP54-rated enclosure.
