Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-OW16 is a discrete relay output module designed for the SLC 500 family of programmable logic controllers. It is a 16-point relay output module designed for use with the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 series of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It provides sixteen normally open relay outputs, supporting both AC (5–265 V) and DC (5–125 V) control applications. The module’s isolated output groups enable mixed-voltage operation, eliminating the need for external interposing relays in many applications.

- Isolation Voltage: 1500V AC (backplane to output), 500V DC (between outputs and user power).
- Maximum thermal dissipation of 5.7 W.
Typical Applications
The module allows the PLC to control external devices, such as solenoids, relays, or small motors, based on the logic programmed in the controller.
